A minute to myself
How do any of you manage it. I'm constantly behind on my friends list. I'm thoroughly in awe of people who manage to be on top of their journals, linking to all sorts of coolness, writing, and still have a real life outside of fandom stuff.

I can barely manage once a week to quickly peruse stuff. I seriously need to learn time management.

On a completely unrelated note: I'm so utterly stoked! My kimono should be arriving in a couple of days! I ordered a real kimono that I'm going to use for costume purposes and for textile art after Halloween. I'm so excited. * happy dance*

I'm going to a huge Halloween ball in Philly. This is the first time since I've had kids that I'm getting to go to a party. My best friend has invited me to this thing every year for about 8 years and I finally can go. The planets must be seriously aligned in my favor for me to have gotten someone to stay with my kids, be able to take off work, and be able to afford a decent costume. Which reminds me that I need to go reserve a train ticket into the city. I'm so not driving.
