List seven quirks, things, facts about yourself.

1.  Even though I'm a preschool teacher I don't have an overwhelming love of children.  It's not that I don't like my students  I do.  I just don't love all children on sight just because they're children.  I have to get to know them and find that special thing about them that makes them shine. 

2.  My hatred of milk is so deep that I put orange juice on my cereal.  This disgusts almost everyone who has ever had to see me eat cereal.

3.  I was 35 when I learned to drive.

4.  I still, sometimes, can't believe I'm an adult. 

5.  Eggs are so loved in my house that they have their own special night, called ever so creatively, egg night.  The decision was made to eat them at night because there isn't sufficient time in the morning to prepare, and enjoy them, correctly.   Plus, I'm not a morning person in any way.  Hence, Egg Night was born!

6.  I bit my nails from the time I was a toddler until I was 35.  Not just bit, I mean down to the quick, bloody looking stumps, bit.  It was so disgusting I used to try to hide my hands.  Which, as you can imagine, was rather difficult.  People look at you funny when you're wearing mittens in July. ( I actually did for quite a long time wear vintage gloves as much as possible)

7.  I get totally freaked out by people who want to hug me.  Not so much family, or friends, who have a reason.. like they haven't seen my in awhile.  It's the ones that have just met you and feel the need to hug you, or they lure you in with a simple handshake and then... BAM!  They pounce on you.  I end up horrified,and stiff, just waiting for them to let go so I can escape back in my own personal space.
